The thugs that he hired started to fight each other and run around yelling and causing a general disturbance. Some of the shadow guards watched them but left them alone, as if they were ignoring them because they were of no consequence.

Down inside the sewers he was closely being watched as he headed along the sewers.

once he got near to where the street was he turned around "you can come out now" he said he wasn't a good rogue for nothing, he new that he was being watched but ignored it for the most part "it seems that i've been caught, but does that mean you can catch me?" he added, his tone of voice made it seem like he wanted a game of tag or something

Like before the shadow watchers pulled around him on all sides, some even stood in the water, obviously not caring how dirty this made them. And as before none of them said a word but instead watched him, waiting for him to make any sort of move.

he was standing near the wall so they could only make a semi-circle around him "Bah! Shoo-shoo! leave me be" he waved his hand dismissivly at them then started walking towards the street again

The guards circled in around him, refusing his entry.

"your starting to annoy me, and stop acting so cool, dammit!" he drew his blades, and started to spin them "and i dont really feel like wasting my time standing here, and enjoying your freaky, silent company"

"Leave." one of them instructed in a gravely voice as they drew their blades. For them there was really no point in talking. If he advanced they would hurt him, but if he left he would leave unharmed.

"i am really not in the mood right now....." he continued to spin his blades and got into a fighting stance "if you want me to leave, you'll have to force me"

The shadow warriors all sprung as if they were one unit and lunged at him. Some came in from the ground, others from the sky, but there was no break in their formation.

time seemed to slow to a crawl, almost as if it were giving them a chance to leave. a heavy feeling of doom filled the air as the spinning swords started to emmit a thick, purple smoke. soon the sewers were filled with it. now, the rogue could pick them off one by one.

The men seemed to ignore the danger they were in and continued with their job as they made to find him in the smoke.

he had to hold back a smile as he watched them, it was rather funny to see them running aroung like that. he had just used an illusianary technique, an he set about with his hit-and-run fun. he'd move in close and stad at ones back and dart off silently in another direction, he wasn't an ace rogue for nothing

Some of the guards managed to counter his attack or block it but the ones that he managed to get seemed to disappear in a cloud of black smoke.

he watched as some of them disappeared in a puff of black smoke "shadows...." he said to himself "dammit, tricky bastard" he ran, he ran down to the street where the guards first appeared to him and snapped his fingers three times, and a hole was busted into the ceiling of the sewers and the 'thugs' jumped down in. "did you find anything on the surface?" he asked them, he had told them to look for an entrance, or a secret door while 'distracting the guards'.

One of the thugs nodded towards an oddly colored bit of brick before heading down into the sewer with the other thugs.

"okay then, split into two groups, one will stay down here and look for another entryway. i'll take the second group back up to the surface and go in. watch out for the gaurds, they're shadows, but they can hurt you." with that he took about half of the thugs and went to check out the oddly-coloured bricks
