The Ultimate Decision!

Hearing the roar, Demazee springs to the balcony, forming her souledge just before she gets ready to take off. "sorry about the mess mrs. lee" (is referring to the blood that dripped on her carpet from my souledge)

A large hole forms in the sky and black spirits pour out of it. They begin to terrorize the town. "What is going on?" I asked. "They have returned, because you are here. They followed your spiritual presence. That is why we never wanted you to return here..." Then suddenly Akira relized the truth. "and that is why you erased my memories, isn't it." Father nods yes.

Demazee fights against the black forms, etherial blade slicing through the shades, futily holding back the invasion. "AKIRA!!! theres too many of them! We have to leave now or the kitsune will be swept away!" with that, demazee thrust out her left palm towards the Lee's balcony, forming a void in space there, a portal back to Rift opening.

Akira looked back tearfully looking at his family as the portal lifted him up slowly away from his family. "Bye mom, bye dad...."

"Ill meet you on the other side Akira, just gotta finish things up here" Demazee goes back to whittling down at the shades, the portal through which they are spilling closing up.

Akira reaches out his paw as it touches his mom's for the last time. "I love Akira..." "I love you mom..." Akira slowly goes through the light in the portal as all the towns people watch in amazment.

In a breif lull in the battle, Demazee looks back, sees the heartbreaking scene, and turns back to finish the last shade off.

Appears back in rift and lays down and crys thinking about mom and dad.

As Demazee finishes off the last shade, she returns to the portal and steps through, closing it behind her permanently, returning the space to its origonal structure.

continues to cry

After sealing off the world, demazee returns to the fox and holds him closely, crying with him as my mind siphons out his pain.

"I guess thats it huh? My parents gave me up to give someone else there problems...."

Looks deeply into your eyes. "Were you not looking when we roamed the streets? All the happiness and joy? All of that is because of one small kitsune. You. What i saw when i looked in the eyes of your parents was not anger, or spite. What i saw, was pride. Pride in their son, who is the single pillar of their peacefull existence."

"I guess your right... I just wish I could be with them.."

Demazee continues to hold Akira. "Im sure that in time, you will get to see them again. From the time that we were there without causing a rip to open, im saying that it might be safe to go back once every few years. We need to give the space time to heal shut"

Whispers softly with still a hint of sadness. "Ok Dema."

Demazee lightly kisses Akiras tears away.

Akira, still sadden asks softly, "So, what do we do now?"

Demazee smiles softly as she points to the large cave in front of us. "Onward and downward, mon amie."

Looking into Dema's happy face, Akira becomes happier. "Lets go!"

GIggling as she swoops up the fox, Demazee bounds into the large cave, following glowing crystals growing out of the ground.
