"There, that should do it." Demazee walks back it, slightly charred.

"hmm? whats wrong?"

"Are you ok? You got s little um....... flame broiled..."

"oh, this? this is nothing. the temperature needs to be very hot for the Chaos to melt, so ihave to walk into the fire and arrange the logs just right"

"o-oh ok...."

Laughs as she grabs a large pot full of a healing salve. "dont worry, ive gotten quite used to it" Lathers the salve onto her charred skin.

*lays down* "I wish I had skill like yours... all I can do is grant wishes..."

Sighing, Demazee picks up Akira and sets him on her lap, cuddling tightly. "Thats not true. There are plenty of things you can do. You are single handedly saving your family, friends, and others from your world. And, secondly, you have brought smiles to my face and happiness to my heart, when no other could."

"I guess. but my wishes also bring pain and sorrow. How is there good in that?"

"good comes out of everything. Its inescapable. So long as the wish the person makes is not selfish in any way, they will be compensated for tie pain they suffer. such is the workings of the realms."

Smiles. "not really. i just dont like seeing you down is all. it feels like a knife in the chest everytime i see that. but, i keep telling myself 'If i can bring him happiness, then thats all i need'"

"So what do we do now?"

Looking down at Akira, Demazee falters momentarily. "I-I dont really know"

"Well maybe we can find a way for my parents to visit me. Instead of me visiting them."
