Basic Character Information

There are some basic things you need to know before you post your character.

Races:

On this site you have four races to choose from: human, energy beings, anthromorphs, and Kin. Now don't think that just because there's only four choices that you're limited in what you can be, you actually aren't. Humans include mages, normal humans, and warriors. Energy beings are creatures like fairies, elves, spirits, and just plain beings of energy that can morph into different forms. Now anthromorphs are interesting on a variety of levels, they can be any sort of animal/human hybrid as well as the possibility of lycans and vampires, but choose wisely because vampiric powers are going to be highly restricted, they won't be able to drink blood, instead they will feed off of emotions and energy. Now, the Kin are a unique race of their own, they are blue skinned and almost look like elves but they are broad shouldered large people with the ability to use magic, but not all of them are warriors, they are a very intelligent species and have created many libraries in their time.

Weapons

A character may have no more than five hidden weapons on their person at one time. Double blades or items are to be counted separately but packets of weapons such as darts or arrows are counted as a whole, not single. Please keep in mind that you need to post the weapons that your character uses on their profile, they can’t just pick up a weapon and know how to use it, that’s unrealistic. These lists are just to help you come up with ideas but if you post a weapon that is not on this list please make sure to explain it so that everyone knows what it is. And NO GUNS, this is a fantasy medieval site; guns are not going to be tolerated at all. Mechanical traps that release things are fine but keep in mind that this world doesn’t know how to use electricity. Also, magical weapons such as fire swords or things like that are allowed, but make sure they aren't too powerful, we don't want you to end up god-modding.

More primitive ninja weapons
Nightstick – releases a burst of auric/magical energy to burn, does not give an electric shock

Magic

There are only a few elements to choose from if you have a character that can use magic. Variations on the element are allowed but please make sure that they aren't so far away from the original element that the use of that power can be questioned.

Basic elements:
Fire
Water
Earth (Nature/Sand/Rock)
Air
Lightning
Light
Dark
Time
Gravity

Keep in mind that not all characters can use magic, but with the aid of a teacher and much practice a person can learn. Battle mages are common but there are also just plain healers and others such as that. Strangely enough monks and librarians tend to be very good at weilding magic.

Special Note For Shapeshifters:

You may only have four different forms. Now I'm talking about you change the appearance of the creature you shift into, that's fine, but you may only have four mains that you can shift into and no more. And these forms have to approved, no wild god like creatures running around the forums please. All animals, spirits, half breed creatures (nekos, angels, demons, werecreatures [in mid-full form], and things like mermaids) are allowed automatically. If you have anything that varies too much from that it will be looked over before given approval. So please wait on posting in that form until it can be looked over. And if you choose a non-basic form, please remember to describe it so we all know what you're talking about!
