After Vanoosh

It took a few days of 'express travel' with her winds but Razalia had finally made her way to Hauna with Samule. Standing at the beginning of the mountains she looked up at them as her clothes seemed unnacfected by the howling winds. Her body created a natural barrier as she stood there, her personal winds circling in the opposite direction of the local winds to create a pocket of calm around her. She would have no problem with this region.

samule was fast asleep on her shoulder, the soft snores from the mouse could barily be heard

Smiling softly at his snores since she could hear them she started off towards the mountains, "Time to find shelter..." Figuring that her method of transport would attract attention and be dangerous with the high winds of the region she just kept on foot.

a guard could be seen moving ahead, it looked as though he was limping, he was using his spear as a walking stick, his thick, white, wool cloak had a large red stain in it, he fell to the ground, seemingly unconcious

Seeing him she hurried forward to help him. He was so injured that it didn't make a difference that he was guard, she knew he needed help.

samule woke up as she hurried forward, he peered out of her hood "whats going on?"

"There's a hurt guard up ahead." she told him quietly as she knelt beside him, trying to roll him over to get at his wound.

as the guard was rolled over it showed a face of a young man, with short blond hair that seemed to be naturaly spiked-up, "oh my, thats young McVain, he was one of the guards that went to search for the queen with captian wolfwood" samule says,

Gasping in shock as she recognied him, "You're right!" Moving away the armorshe revealed his wound and started to bind it up.

as his chainmail was removed he looks up at you "w-where is captian wolfwood?" he asks in a raspy voice

"You're the only one I've seen so far." she told him gently as she wrapped his wounds and poured a cup of water for him, sprinkling in some herbs she pressed it to his lips and urged, "Drink. It will help heal you. When you wake you can tell me what happened."

he forced himself to drink it all, he coughed a bit and slowly fell asleep "those wounds look deep, who could have done this? it unhuman!" samule said as he inspected the wounds "he's lucky he made it this far....." samule, for a mouse, was rather good at bandaging wounds and he worked fervently to help raza patch McVain up

"It's something alright...." she agreed with a shiver ag the amount of carnage. "I hope he pulls through. ...We have to get him out of this wind and near a fire." Pulling some of the winds around them all she created a cushioned stretched to guide him to a cave up the mountain.

"I'm more worried about making sure he lives through the night. Too much blood has been lost." she whispered as she urged her winds faster, coasting them just a few inches off the ground.

Setting the knight down she continued to care for his wounds as she asked, "What is it Samule?" her eyes remained trained on the wound in front of her instead of looking over at Samule.

"I'll go look at it in a minute." she assured him as she finished bandaging off the rest of the wounds. Leaning back she took off her cloak and spread it over him like a blanket to go with his cloak/bed. "Now, what writing?" she asked as she moved over to where Samule had been.

"They're old..." she said as she looked down at the runes. "Very old... I wonder who wrote them..." her voice took on a dream-like quality as she thought about it, leaning forward to gently touch the rune closest her with her finger.

"What's that?" she asked, her voice still in that dreamy quality.

Her eyes glazed over for a moment before she snapped out of it. Blinking as her eyes returned to normal she asked him, "What do they say?"
