"You remember when I said I was used to serving masters?" she didn't wait for him to answer as she sat back and made herself comfortable. Sighing softly she continued, "Well, I am bound to the underworld master of this city. Every one of his people bears this mark," she pointed to the necklace that was forever firmly clasped around her throat without any way to get it off, "but because I am so good at my job I was rewarded, as a favorite is always rewarded." This time her fingers touched the jewel. "I am bound to him until I have been released or, in my case, when I ask to start my own den."

Leaning back in her chair a little she closed her eyes for a moment, considering something. Without opening her eyes she told him, "That's why it was dangerous for you to follow me yesterday. If you're seen with me you can become leverage to some of the honorless of our underground. You could have been hurt badly."

She stopped when he said 'wonderful' and blinked a little in confusion before clearing her throat a little flustered. "I like gambling, and my master is not bad. The contract is fair, I don't mind it."

Smiling just a little in response to his smile she leaned forward so her hands rested on the bed and tiredly placed her cheek onto her arm, "Thank you..."
