Laughing a little at his comment she smiled and laid back onto the sheets, her headache gone.

After a while of silence she relaxed closer to him and closed her eyes as she thought. Finally she answered quietly, her voice holding a tone of seriousness, "I think I should show you the castle."

"In the morning." she answered as she laid back in bed. "No-one will be awake to take payment for the room right now."

She shrugged helplessly and leaned back, closing her eyes.

"It's the family's main business," she answered softly with a small shrug as she settled in next to him and used him partially as a pillow. "Besides, I just love books and my first master that trained me said I had an interesting way with words that would help them so I took his advice and became his apprentice."

After a while she closed her eyes and finally managed to fall asleep.

He watched her sleep for a while and then fell asleep.

In the morning when he woke up there was a note lying on her pillow. It was written on one of her personal pieces of paper and in her own handwriting, proving that it was a creation of her own. It said:

"Rand,

I just recieved urgent news from my old friend Aison from the castle. Things aren't going well and I have to return tonight. I'm sorry that I didn't wake you to warn you about this but you looked so peaceful I just couldn't do it. I've left money for the payment of the second night's stay and some money for you in case you needed it since I assume you haven't switched over to our currency yet. If anything happens while I'm at the castle find Aison and ask him my whereabouts, he'll know where I've gone, and if Aison has had to flee the castle then ask the head scribe, he's trustworthy. I'm sorry that I had to leave on such short notice but the castle has been taken over by the guards and Aison is in trouble, I can't let him get captured. Be careful, trust no-one if you can help it. I'll see you soon, promise.

And just as she said in the letter laying on her pillow as well was a small velvet pouch full of some coins. Enough to pay for 3 nights worth of lodging at any decent inn, payment for the nights spent at this inn, and food money for groceries and the like. She hadn't been sure as to what he would need so she had decided to provide for anything that may happen.
