Dune Walk

He smiled holding her in his arms, liking the feel of the water around them.

Crawling a little upon him as if he were a large tree she wrapped her legs around his stomach from behind and her arms around his neck as she rested her chin upon his shoulder and looked out at the sunrise.

He watched it with her, kissing her neck lightly as she was so close.

Shivering at the kiss she smiled at him and gently nuzzled his neck before resting her cheek against his.

He smiled and just help her there with him in the water as the sunset, "well were shall we go now?" thinking they would have to find a place to stay before it gets to dark. He slowly carries her out of the water in his arms.

"There's an inn up by the cliffs." she answered as she wrapped her legs around him a little tighter to make sure she wouldn't slip off of him.

He carried her out of the water and kissed her lightly. "that was fun wasn't it?"

"It was." she agreed with a smile at his kiss and she gently slipped off of his back so she could change back into her clothes.

Before he did he used his flames to dry himself off, then he started to put his cloths back on. And strapping the weapons back on, then the cloak to hide it all.

A swirling cocoon of the fog surrounded her as she dried herself off and put on her dress and boots. Leaving her cloak draped over her shoulder she tried to straighten her dress to its proper form.

He smiled watching her, then looked up at the cliffs.

A mile north of the beginning of the ocean there were impossibly high cliffs. They loomed over everyone and offered an extreme obstacle for anyone who did not know the secrets of its trails. Twinkling lights from inns and taverns and a small local town could be seen way on the top of the cliff that was nearly the height of a mountain.

He smiled at her, he thought this would be fun he had climbed steeper clifts then that before. "So how do you think we should go about getting up there?"

"There's a trail that leads up the face of the cliff." she answered him with a small shrug as she worked on drying ou her hair. "I was always a snit and cheated though."

He looked at her, "well i guess we should start heading up there..."

"You don't want to know how I cheated?" she teased him as she finished fixing her hair.

"and how did you do that?" he smiled.

"Like this." she answered him with a teasing smile and wind started to gather around her in a fierce torrent. In a blink she had been propelled high into the sky and came falling back down to land before him ungracefully falling onto her bottom. Laughing at her landing she smiled at him.

He grinned, and then flames shoot out from under his boots probleming him off the ground, then he lets the flames stop, but then stones come out of the ground to hold him 2 feet above the ground. Showing 2 different tricks. "hows that?"

"You're obviously better at it." she answered him with a giggle as she scrambled to get to her feet.

"or i can get us there now if you wish?"

"No, I can do it." she answered him stubbornly and gathered her winds again to propel her to the base of the cliffs.

He started to consintrate and a stone archway appeared before him, feeding it earth, fire, air, water, and spirit into it..and until a shimering light apeared in the archway.

She didn't notice his actions as she landed at the cliff. Taking in a deep breath she concentrated and started to gather her winds around her once more.

He was sitting there before her as she landed, "what took you so long?" he teasted one step threw that archway and he was there instantly and as soon as he steped threw the archway dissapeared behind him, so there is no way she could have seen it.
