Will she ever get home?

Aria stumbles under the large rock overhang. The last thing she remember was wandering the woods.. Something opened up beneath her and dumped her here. She had been wandering for hours, trying to get out. But she was killing herself. The sun was stabbing into her light skin, the scream of her throat echoing through her brain. She closes her eyes, curling into a ball and starting to sob.

Perrin Aybara was wondering those same deserts he was searching for wooded lands, but he keps finding deserts. He was wearing a tan clock torn at the ends over himself, to help with the heat. He was a big guy very stronge, he had an axe and a big blacksmiths hammer on his belt tho it was hidden by his clock. He wondered the desert, following his nose.

Aria cries a few more tears before fainting, either from heat or lack of water. Her dark clothing stands out against the light sand, A simple tunic and shorts, which reached halfway down her thigh. Her own cloak, dark and rich, was splayed around her. She looked almost like a statue.

He walked up not saying anything see her sad state, he pulled out his spare cloak it was in the same state as his current one, but better then what she had. He threw it in her direction. Not saying much. Ever since he had came to these lands. Everyone just didn't seem much for words, so he didn't bother talking at first.

Aria feels the cloak land on her. With feeble hands, she unlatches the cloak pinned to her tunic and pulls the other one around her. Her lips form the word 'Thanks', but nothing comes out but a thin croak. She frowns, and her long ears droop.

Now that he got a better look, she was rather beautiful. He pulled out water skins and handed it to her. (ooc; basically like a cantine but made of animal skins..)

Aria reaches up, her hand brushing his as she takes the flask with a nod of thanks. She gulps some of the water down before handing the flask back to the man. She stands, and looks him over, silent. She brushes sand off herself nervously.

He looked her over a little, "Pardon me for asking, but i can't help but wonder.. I have never seen anyone quit like you before. I dont mean to sound rude.. but i never seen your kind before. What are you?"

Aria tugs on the end of her tunic and licks her lips. "Err, drow. Where am I?" In truth, she was never supposed to speak of an outsider. But, well, surely this couldn't be so bad.

He looked at her, "Well from what i heard were on a continent called Terra.. the area were in is a desert in what is called Gilgamesh"

Aria frowns, remaining silent. She had no idea what he was talking about, and no idea where her home was. Because, in fact, Drow live underground, it was hard to make maps of upper lands. And no one wanted to trade with a race that has never seen the sky before. Aria points to the sun, and the sky. "What is that? Where I come from, it's all black.."

"I see you must have lived underground" He laughed lighty. "well that is what we liked to call a sun.. you had candles or some source of light? well think of that as a big ball of fire that will never burn out"

Aria blinks. "Yes, I lived.. Underground.. We had candles.. and torches.. A.. ball of.. fire? Will we burn?" She cringes.

He looked at her, "oh now.. its fine.. its far away among the stars."

Aria looked curiously. "Stars? And how far away?" she smiles, her ears twitching. "And why is it so hot and dry here?" she frowns.

"Im sure leaving underground you know all about the different types of soil? This is sand.. were in a desert.. which means very little water.. and no trees or anything to provide shade"

Aria scowls. "Sand, easy. But why is it so hot? And why is there no water?" She frowns. "I need to get home!"

"there is no going home now.. your stuck in these lands, just as i am" he looked at her. "its to hot here to just keep going on and on.. talk as we walk" he started to walk. Pulling out a thin white cloth handing it to her. "you can still see out of it.. but it will shield your eyes from the sun slightly, until your eyes adjust"

Aria pales. "N-Not going home?!" She weakly takes the cloth and ties it over the face. She felt like crying again. At least this cloth will hide the tears, if there are any. she thinks with a sigh.

"im sorry.. but it is how things are. We do what we must to survive..so focus on the present" he started walking threw the desert.

Aria doesn't answer, but simply stares forward, lost in her own dismal thoughts. She opens her mouth to speak, but closes it after a few moments, unable to find anything worth wasting words on. She hated the sand. It was thick and dragged at her feet. She felt so out-of-place, so she walked very close to her new friend, scared of the new and unfamiliar world she was trapped in.

After walking for hours on end which seemed like days, they reached solid ground, and way off in the horizen he could see mountins and all sorts of green colors. He had incredible eye site so he could see things at a greater distance then most other people could.

Aria kept her eyes on the ground with a sigh. She wanted home. She starts to kick at the ground, and could only just keep her legs following the man leading her somewhere.

He continued to walk, "I'm Perrin Aybara by the way" he looked back at her. "and dont worry we will be in the forest in no time"

Aria sniffles again, keeping her eyes on the ground. She didn't bother even asking what a forest was. "Aria Rain." she states quietly, with a sigh. Her name only reminded her of her home, and if she thought of her home she would cry.
