he walks up to her, "really?" he asks "where"

"Here." pushing the orb outward a little she showed him the rift. It wasn't obvious, just a shaky glimmer of air in the darkness, but when you looked at it from the side the darkness seemed different, as if it wasn't from these caves.

"thank you, but tell me, how do you know it's stable?" he asks looking a the shimmer

"The unstable ones swirl or emit light." she answered.

"i see" he said simply "thank you, i dont know how i could repay you, wait, is there any clues that you've found? anything from your queen?" he asks, an idea forming in his head

"Only a slip of her dress." she answered and showed it to him.

he took the fabric, taking a deep sniff from if he hands it back to her, holding his breath till the scent is memorized "we anthromorph's scense of smell is only beaten by that of spirit animals," he says, smiling, "i'll do what i can from fir, though i can't promise that i wont be killed by whomever stole the queen"

After his words she moved forward and gave him a small hug. "Be safe." she told him.

chuckles awkardly at the hug, not having been hugged before "i'll try" hugging her back, slightly he then heads into the rift "good bye" and disappears

"Bye..." she whispered after he was gone and stood staring at the Rift for a few moments.

he feels like he was going on a rollercoaster, when he ended up in fir almost instantly, he looks around, seeing no danger he walks forward, trying to find his way out of the far caverns
